How do I set up port forwarding on the BT Business Hub 5 or Hub 3?

If you want to enable remote access to devices connected to your wi-fi network, you can open all ports, or selected ports on the BT Business Hub 5 and Hub 3.

If you want to set up basic Port Forwarding, the process is identical for the BT Business Hub 5 and the Hub 3:

  1. From your web browser, open the Hub Manager at http://btbusinesshub.home
  2. Select Settings
  3. When prompted, enter the admin password and click OK
  4. Click Port Forwarding
  5. From the Game or Application drop down list, select the rule you require
  6. From the Device drop down list, select the device you want to access remotely
  7. Click Add

If the application you want to use doesn't appear in the list, you'll need to set up Advanced Port Forwarding. The steps you need to follow will vary, depending on your model of BT Business Hub.
