Accelerating innovation

Digital transformation in healthcare isn’t a new conversation. But the pandemic has sped up the urgency for organisations to embrace innovation. Up and down the country organisations have shown a shift in the typical delivery of healthcare services, as NHS clinicians, managers and system regulators have gone above and beyond in the face of such exceptional demand.

97% of people who’ve communicated with the health service since the beginning of the pandemic have done so digitally. Through video calling, messaging and apps as well as email.

And 80% of UK health providers believe the need to deliver better remote access and care is the main driver of digital transformation.

Delivering digital healthcare

Working with iGov Survey, we polled decision-makers across UK healthcare providers to find out what they see as the biggest opportunities and barriers to delivering improved digital healthcare in the wake of the pandemic.

Read our report to find out what’s driving the demand for faster digital transformation. And how new technologies can help tackle some of the health service’s most pressing problems.
