We’re charging for BT Mobile paper bills

Like any responsible business, we try to minimise our impact on the environment.

We expect your business has this aim too. An easy way for us all to make a difference is to reduce the amount of paper we use.

To encourage the move to online billing, from 14 September 2020 we’re charging you £4 (ex VAT) for each paper bill we send you.

Avoid the fee by opting out of paper bills and going online - here's how:

1. Email us to opt out of paper bills

Send us an email including your account number to opt out of paper bills. We’ll opt you out of paper bills and check that your account is set up for online billing.

2. Sign up for Mobile Manager

This is our free digital service that makes it easy to keep track of your bills, phone usage and spending.

Go to the sign in page, select ‘Activate Account’ and follow the simple instructions.

You'll need the eight digits from your BT Mobile account number, (you’ll find this at the top of your bill), and your associated mobile number(s).

3. Access your bill(s) through Mobile Manager

Once you've signed up for Mobile Manager, log in with your username and password. You'll see the latest invoice date, with a link to view, download and print your latest itemised bill. We’ll send you an email to let you know when it’s ready to view (usually a few days after your billing date).

To view earlier bills, select the required date from the drop down box at the top of the screen. We store itemised bill data for three months. After that, we keep a summary of your data for 13 months on a rolling basis.
