In 2003, after 12 years working for BT, Melinda Bailey and Jamie Mitchell joined business partner Simon Bailey and started Elysium Communications Ltd.

‘We helped Hartpury College, who were having problems with their mobile services. We supplied 126 mobile connections to minimise the spend levels and also improve the network coverage across a rural campus.’
Based in central Worcester, the team comprises specialists in Managed WAN, cloud technology, BT One Phone and education-specific solutions. The office has a showcase for all the latest BT products and services.
‘We spent years serving large companies nationwide and want to give something back to our local community. One way we do this is by raising money for charity. The team has been involved in all sorts, from mud running to fire walking’ says Simon.
