Inspired Communications Ltd’s co-founders, Chris and Karen O’Loughlin, bring with them a wealth of experience in the fast-moving telecoms industry. Before partnering with BT in 2003, Chris had already got senior positions in Esprit Telecom, nPower, and BT under his belt. And Karen was no slouch either. She worked in management roles for Crane Telecom, Nortel, and BT Wholesale before setting up as a BT Local Business with husband, Chris.

‘The pace of change of technology is exciting and a constant challenge’, said Karen. ‘Our goal is to make sure that our customers have the best possible solutions for their business.’

Based on The Manor Royal Industrial Estate in Crawley, the team can get to anyone within the territory within an hour, which is good news for the 28 000 small businesses in the area. Crawley: Taxi business

Metro Taxis were not confident that they were answering all their incoming calls. And when they did answer a call, lack of visibility of their fleet was driving inefficient routing of the taxis on the street.

We provided them with a fully integrated solution including voice recording and wallboards, so they could plot vehicle locations and availability, and a call stats package so they could see call patterns and staff the office accordingly. 

Productivity and efficiency have improved. The company is taking more bookings and servicing more customers as a result.

Brighton: School

St Mary’s School only had a single line running into the school. They were unable to hold and transfer calls. We gave them an Avaya IP Office phone system, calls package, and lines. They can now handle all calls promptly and professionally, and staff can communicate effectively across the school.
