FAQs
What are the alternatives to a copper line?

We don’t just recommend a digital phone service because the copper infrastructure is old and worn, we recommend it because it’s a superior system. Take a look at our digital solutions to see which would suit your business best.

Why aren't Openreach selling new copper lines?

With Openreach planning to switch off the copper network completely in 2025 it doesn’t make sense to continue selling new copper lines which will need to be made digital in the very near future. This is the most efficient way of handling the transition.

How long can I keep my copper line for?

Openreach will continue to maintain the copper network until 2025. At that point, they’ll completely decommission the infrastructure which is why we’re recommending getting ahead now to avoid any issues later on.

You can find out more about the switch-off here.
