Learn more about ISDN30

What is ISDN30?

ISDN30 allows you to connect between eight and thirty 64k channels (lines),so, these can all either be used separately, allowing multiple calls to be made and taken or combined to increase bandwidth.

ISDN30 connections can also be used with a digital switch or phone systems to manage your calls more effectively.

But it's not just about using the lines separately. Your lines can be combined to cater for high bandwidth needs such as video conferencing (both parties in a video-conferencing session need ISDN access and compatible equipment) or transferring large files.

Another benefit is that an ISDN30 connection gives you the choice of an unlimited number of DDI (Direct Dial In) numbers - this means anyone dialling in get directly through to the right department or person without having to go through a switchboard.

ISDN30/30e can be used for creating a Wide Area Network (WAN) by linking 2 or more Local Area Networks (LAN) this allows you to link multiple offices together. The link requires a router at each end, to connect the LAN hubs to the ISDN line.

ISDN30 is also supported by most exchanges so it is available in most areas.

Finally, if something ever does go wrong, you can choose from our ISDN30 Assurance Continuity options. Allowing you to route calls to calls to an alternative destination or number
